Artistic benches address one of the goals in the CTCSP and are a tool the city can utilize to “attract more investment, tenants, and consumers to the area” because of the concept’s uniqueness. Given the need for improving the appeal and consistency of the streetscape in the district, the city could utilize artistic benches to create benches that are consistent with the desired character of the district, which involves implementing artistic design for the street furniture in the area.
