Prosper Covina

Prosper Covina will be a non-governmental organization for community members to enhance Covina through the physical and social environment. The goals are to collaborate with local stakeholders on initiatives that aim to improve the Covina Town Center. Allowing for the Covina Town Center to become a more sustainable environment through community engagement and creativity. Proposer Covina will foster collective learning programming to serve the downtown area. This will provide Covina with the necessary resources and tools to be actively engaged in the decision-making process. Through the organization, community forums from time to time allow for more extensive public comments. This allows enhancements of the existing characteristics of the Town Center through environmental conservation and cultural expression.

A Blog that gives updates on events and programs online. A great way of tailoring given information, letting the audience be aware of everything necessary for each campaign. Can be utilized for all projects.

Silent Auctions have an event with collected pieces created by local artists with recycled materials that can be sold to support the organization. Events that display provided art for auction, includes drinks, food, music, etc.

Websites allow a web page for local artists and businesses to promote themselves of any upcoming events, educational programs, and other initiatives.

Social Media use popular media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter) to give a spotlight to artists and their work. As well as a method to promote upcoming events in the Town Center to the general public.
